Our Team

Derek Utermarck is a Middle Tennessee native who got sober in 2019 and has been working in the treatment field ever since. Over the past five years, he’s built real, hands-on experience in admissions and as a clinical assistant at Cumberland Heights – and he’s currently working toward his LADAC case management license.

Derek is active in his own recovery and a recognized leader in the sobriety community. He brings that same energy to his role every day.

Outside of work, Derek is a die-hard Nashville Predators fan and an avid shoe collector.
